The member database is the heart of Il Circolo: every member, their status, their renewal date — kept honest automatically, not by whoever last remembered to update the spreadsheet.

Statuses that mean something

Active, pending, lapsed, archived — set by the system from real renewal dates, not typed in by hand. Archived members are kept, not deleted, so history survives committee handovers.

A renewal lifecycle, not a column

When a membership passes its renewal date it moves to a grace period you control, then lapses on its own. The register updates itself every day — no end-of-year reconciliation weekend.

Reminders before anyone lapses

Up to three reminder points per club — 30, 14 and 3 days before renewal by default — each sent once, so members are chased politely and never spammed.

Your membership year, your rules

Calendar year, financial year or anniversary-based — with your choice of full-term or pro-rata treatment for mid-year joiners, and a rollover window for late renewals.

The chase-list

One screen showing exactly who is due and overdue, so the membership secretary knows who to ring before the next meet.

Members arrive however they arrive

Added by the committee, imported from a CSV, self-served through your club's join link, or synced across from Il Giro — all four land in the same register.
